Small artificial ice rinks in the centres of cities or towns are becoming more popular. Due to the mild winters in the Netherlands, there is often no natural ice formation here, so these artificial ice rinks make a wonderful alternative. Intertent has been providing (temporary) accommodations for artificial ice rinks for many years now.
An ice rink turns into a truly marvellous experience when there is an indoor area for skaters to be welcomed upon arrival, to relax, and of course to enjoy some traditional ice skating snacks and beverages, such as split pea soup, mulled wine, and hot chocolate.
